Knitting on a large scale.

So I decided that with my new found knowledge and skills in the knitting department, that I wanted to do something 3D and life size. The Shape and Texture in this is what I want to highlight the most. I've a feeling this is going to take a while, so I'll update it again in a later post.

 3 different kinds of wool put together thickens up the pattern and adds a variety of colour

 Drawing out the outline of the figure helps to keep to the shape that I want but also shows where to reduce and increase stitches.

Shredded fabric also works well instead of wool and make it thicker too.
