So turns out I wasn't liking my idea about the puppets too much. I didn't really enjoy making them and to be honest what's the point in producing Art you dont enjoy making? So I decided to go back to my roots with Limerick Senior and try some Print, something I've always loved doing. I was a tad nervous because it had been a while since I had printed, and I'd never done a wood block before but I loved it, and I'm really happy with the result.
I went back to my Gymnastics/Trampolining ideas, and got in contact with my friend Shannen, who just happens to be an intermediate Trampolinist, and gave me a few pictures of her, which I turned into prints.
I was told that the material on the skirt was as interesting as the body movement, but I think that the body movement was as interesting so I want it to be that the two points are represented equally.
Lets see how we go..
